hello 2014!

Hi!! I'm still alive, just quietly putzing around & reading books & cooking & baking & dreaming up new things for the new year. This is that fallow period that I think all makers need, mine just always follows the insanity of the holiday season out of necessity. Last year I couldn't do anything for a couple months (seriously), so I'm already calling this year a big win in comparison. 

I really am doing things. I made this very fat & grumpy yeti with Zooguu at Gather Here right after Christmas. I love him (also, the mister took the class with me & made his very own amazing yeti too)!

I made a Yeti! He is extra fat & grumpy. Thanks @zooguu!!!

I'm also sketching & plotting & planning, albeit at a much more relaxed pace than usual. And I am back into a good reading groove too. Reading books is something I miss so much from October - December, and I had a big pile I was ready to dive into by the time I was done with my last show.
