Hello friends/crafty folk/random passersby!
I had all sorts of elaborate "right after Christmas is over" plans for this blog, born out of many months of (self-induced) guilt over not finding/making time to update & post all the things that I want to, but realized with a jolt this week that I've been behind on things around here for most of the past year, and so "catching up" was more than a few days' work. Rather than rush & stress (as I've done for a lot of the last 12 months), I decided to give myself a break (gasp) and settle down to some much-needed recuperation time.
I've spent the last few days leisurely picking up around the house & studio, organizing things here & there, but I've really just been reading, relaxing, spending time with friends & family, and (mostimportantly) letting some new and exciting ideas & inspiration percolate. I'm super-excited for a fresh start in 2012. I've got lots of projects & designs lined up already, and I'm getting ready for a VERY busy year! But in the meantime, I'm permitting myself some rest, relaxation & FUN. I hope you're getting the chance to do something for you too.
