Whew! I don't think I've even had a second to breathe since we got back from Chicago, and I have so much to tell you! I guess it'll have to wait a little longer, because I'm frantically finishing up work for this weekend's Open Studios event.
Lowell Open Studios is both Saturday & Sunday, October 1st & 2nd (from 11-5), and it includes my building, Western Avenue Studios, as well as three others; there are special events, demos & more all weekend too!
This is my first city-wide Open Studios since I moved into my space at the end of last year, and I'm so excited! I'm even debuting a new design at this weekend's Open Studios: the tea rose!
I'll also have lots of hydrangeas, bookmarks, clips, magnets, and YARN, plus some special studio-only items!
There are many artists participating in this event, so you might want to plan out your visit ahead of time. The Lowell Open Studios website has artist profiles, photos, a map and schedule so you can plan your itinerary!
I'll be in my (newly-rearranged! so exciting!) spot in studio 410 in the C-Mill of Western Avenue Studios. Please stop by and say hello! I'll have plenty of sugar on hand if you need a little energy boost.
